Gator Gamble dinner canceled

We are so sad to announce…

In the wake of uncertainty about the Corona Virus that is causing world troubles, AACPS has announced that all school events and any set to happen in school facilities will be canceled. At this time, we are uncertain of any future plans, so the DES PTO has elected to simply announce the cancellation and get back to you when we know more.

For all those who purchased dinner tickets, we are asking for your patience until we can figure out all of our options moving forward. Secondly, in case the event must be completely cancelled, we hope you might consider your purchase a donation to the PTO. Again, this is just an idea at this point and we will let you know of any future decisions.

As for the online auction that took place, items that were purchased have been sent home with students when that is an option. Larger items or special goods will be delivered by an event volunteer. You can contact the PTO by e-mail if you have questions at DESPTOGatorGamble@gmail.com.

Thank you SO much to all of you who have supported the PTO with auction purchases and by buying tickets for the dinner event. And good luck to all of us as we deal with this unprecedented situation.
