Davidsonville Elementary School PTO!
The DES PTO is open to all parents with students attending Davidsonville Elementary School. You will be receiving information on how to register for membership and list your family in the PTO Directory.
The PTO supports many programs and clubs (see list here), but another purpose is to support our students and staff by providing communication for everyone to stay informed about what is going on at school and in our community. We have created this website to help all of us to locate information more easily. We also provide weekly PTO Gator Blast e-mails for all parents to keep their calendars up to date. There is sometimes a mid-week Gator Blast e-mail to provide information on more of what’s coming up, deadlines, and events. All of these efforts promote communication between families and staff within the DES community. Please help support Davidsonville Elementary School’s PTO with your membership, your time, and your attention.

How to Support Davidsonville Elementary School
- Fill out your membership form and send back to school with check made out to DES PTO. Or new for 2020, you can join online using PayPal for payment. Our goal is 100% PARTICIPATION. It’s easy, it’s possible, and it benefits the kids. See the membership sign-up on the front page of this site or click here DES PTO Membership 2022.
- Fill out the PTO Directory information so that other families can connect with you. Please follow the deadlines and try to turn it in as soon as possible.
- Come to our Volunteer Orientation event in the early fall to see what jobs are available, meet some current members, and learn a bit more about our committees and how it all works on a daily basis.
- Read your weekly PTO e-mails and/or visit the despto.org website regularly to stay current on information and deadlines.
- Support the fundraisers that happen throughout the year. There is truly something for everyone. The PTO has recently focused on reducing the total number of fundraisers to lighten the load on families. We would love to direct our energies to fun family events and creating a close sense of community at DES.

PTO Membership Directory
The PTO publishes an annual directory, which is FREE to all families who register for PTO Membership. It really comes in handy when your children want to contact their school friends outside of the classroom. Or when they forget their homework and you need to contact another parent with a student in their class. There are many reasons this directory is a good thing.
DES PTO E-Mail Gator Blast
The PTO distributes important weekly e-mails full of information and schedules. To receive this e-mail, please provide the best e-mail when registering your information for PTO Membership. Throughout the year, you will also be alerted to last minute schedule changes and late-breaking school news via these e-mails. It may be the best way to insure that you stay informed (except for this website, and maybe our Facebook feed.)
